ABOUT THE FILM:

Rams is an industrial designer best-known for his iconic work at Braun and Vitsoe. His designs have impacted the lives of millions of people—anyone who’s owned or used a Braun coffeemaker, alarm clock or calculator, Oral-B toothbrush, or numerous other products. Rams’ work continues to influence the design of Apple products to this day.

The documentary examines Rams’ career, philosophy, inspirations and process. It focuses on design, but also covers consumerism, materialism and sustainability. From Gary Hustwit, the creator of design documentaries “Objectified,” and “Helvetica,” the film also features original music by Brian Eno.
